A downloadable game for Windows
You must eat fruits to grow.
If the fruit is green, you are accelerating.
If the fruit is overripe, you slow down, and one of the directions of movement is reversed.
In both of the above cases, you are not growing up.

Prerequisites:
pip3 install pygame
To play run script snake_survive.py:
python3 ./snake_survive.py
